After you’ve made contact, many therapists will offer an introductory phone call, often free, which is followed by a (chargeable) consultation. This meeting usually lasts for longer than a weekly session and is charged for accordingly. Once you have found a therapist you can work with then your weekly fee is set and the work starts.
