Next Steps

You can search for a qualified and approved therapist on a number of websites:  It’s important for your safety that you engage with a qualified therapist.  Those on the following lists are professionally trained, insured and governed by the ethics of their registration bodies.

Counselling Directory:  https://www.counselling-directory.org.uk/

UKCP:  https://www.psychotherapy.org.uk/

After you’ve made contact, many therapists will offer an introductory phone call, often free, which is followed by a (chargeable) consultation.  This meeting usually lasts for longer than a weekly session and is charged for accordingly.  Once you have found a therapist you can work with then your weekly fee is set and the work starts.

If you have any questions, would like to get in touch about therapy with me, drop me a line and we can take it from there.  There is no charge for an initial call and it will allow us to find out a little more about each other and decide whether or not to book in an initial, digital, meeting.
